In Arctic Monkeys news, MTV reports the following tidbit: *Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders and Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist Nick Zinner are set to remix new tracks from The Hives. Helders will be working on "We Rule The World" and Nick Zinner will get his hands on "Tick Tick Boom." Both songs are off The Hives' latest record, The Black & White Album.*

Arctic Monkeys Use Moniker For Vinyl Release

NME reports: *Arctic Monkeys have released two new songs on a limited edition vinyl under a pseudonym. The band's record company Domino announced the release of a seven-inch release from a band called The Death Ramps, featuring the tracks 'Death Ramps' and 'Nettles'. Both these tracks feature as B-sides to the band's new single 'Teddy Picker', which is out on Monday (December 3). Another B-side featured in the package is 'Bad Woman', which features Richard Hawley guesting on vocals. The vinyl, limited to 250 copies, is being sold via Domino's website though the label are not confirming who is behind it, explaining: "Unfortunately, we're not allowed to tell you the true identity of The Death Ramps but needless to say they're a band with A Certain Romance (wink, wink)."* Enjoy a track from Whatever People Say... below.

NME reports: *Former Arctic Monkeys member Andy Nicholson is set to make his DJing debut in London this weekend (November 3). The bassist is now regularly to be found behind the decks, and has supported his friends Reverend And The Makers in the past. He will DJ for the first time in the capital at free night Filthy Few Live! vs Threads. The event takes place at Hoxton Square Bar between 7pm and 2am. The full line-up for the night is:
