Antony's official site explains: *On March 18th a group of NYC artists and producers have collaborated to stage the event "PEACE IN IRAQ AND JUSTICE AT HOME". Performers include Scissor Sisters, Norah Jones, Damien Rice, Blonde Redhead, Bill T Jones, Laurie Anderson, Lou Reed & Antony, as well as a plethora of speakers with their own insights on these issues. This event will take place at 8pm at St Ann's Warehouse in Brooklyn. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday (2/13) at $65 & $125. Proceeds benefit UNITED FOR PEACE & JUSTICE and IRAQ & AFGHANISTAN VETERANS AGAINST THE WAR. A limited number of lower priced tickets will be made available in about a week's time for artists & students.*

Here are all the deets on the charity piece: *The dress, made from white silk jersey, has been made by hand and produced in a single model signed by Antony himself. Evoking a kimono, the sleeves are short, the hems are unfinished, and the front is adorned with an elegant abstract design. Following the lines of a tunic, the opening is at the rear and can be tied on both sides, which makes it suitable for all body shapes and silhouettes.*

This bit of news has just been posted on Antony's official site: *The first Hercules & Love Affair single featuring Antony will be released at the end of February. Antony & The Johnsons' record "The Crying Light" will be released in Autumn 2008. The original projected date has been pushed back slightly. Some time ago, a Spring event at Saint Ann's was erroneously publicized; no such concert is scheduled at this time.* What a major bummer!
