Mark Ronson Plus Kaiser Chiefs Equals
XFM reports: *Speaking at The Brit Awards 2008, where Kaiser Chiefs were nominated for an impressive three gongs, drummer and chief songwriter Nick Hodgson told XFM: "We've got a load of songs ready for the new album - we're busy playing them, rehearsing them and writing a load more. There's a big difference between these songs are our old stuff. It's definitely worth people getting excited about hearing these as they're are gonna be so different." Elsewhere a reliable XFM source close to Mark Ronson claimed that the award winning producer is set to produce the follow up to 2007's Yours Truly, Angry Mob.*Visit Kaiser Chiefs on MySpace.

They're riding the Ronson wave, eh? It seems a little pathetic to me, since his sound is so distinct and might overpower their own style. But whatever, it might turn out really good, I guess. KC desperately need some interesting news surrounding them, that's for sure.
