It's another damn fine album.. can we not leave it at that?
I can definitely see that. It is a much more concise and tuneful album than anything since OK Computer. I'll give 'im that.
Wow...only difference is Revolver was a strong release that combined achievements in technology with musical insight.
In Rainbows combines...well...older Radiohead style with newer Radiohead style. Sorry Thom, you're not a musical messiah (see solo work), just another member of just another band.

Sorry to break the trend musos, but i think Thom Yorke is spot on. In Rainbows is "among" their best yet. Just like Revolver, sgt pepper and abbey road could be considered as being "among" The Beatles best albums
