Boy, they are shirking their tried-and-true noir/minimalist ethos in a BIG WAY. It's a statement, that's for sure. Can't rate it yet. I'll have to see it in person afore I make final judgment. It sure is something, though.
No way is that an Interpol album cover. Sorta puts the BRMC one into perspective though, doesn't it?

I actually kinda like the art, but for Interpol???
Baby 81 is awesome, my 2nd favourite BRMC album. Im not so keen on the debut album, Howl on the other hand is one of my all time favourites.
I'm calling bullshit and hoping I'm wrong. I kind of like it.
It kind of looks like staged taxidermy. Weird. I sorta preferred their minimal covers, myself.
