Elijah Wood To Play Iggy Pop In Biopic

The Tripwire is reporting today that Hobbit and music fanatic, alike, Elijah Wood is set to portray Iggy Pop in the upcoming biopic, The Passenger, to begin taping later this year.

Variety reports that the movie 'will focus on the early days of Iggy during his time with The Stooges. It will be directed by Nick Gomez, based on a script written by Eric Schmid.'
