*Don’t set the holiday picnic table just yet. You might need to clear some snow first. The National Weather Service says rain or thundershowers are likely through this evening along the Front Range, with snowshowers expected by midnight in the Castle Rock area. Thunderstorms could be heavy on the eastern plains. The southwestern mountains of Colorado are under a snow advisory, with up to 8 inches of accumulation possible by early evening.*

I just read (via a link on Drudge Report) that temperatures today in Chicago will reach a HIGH of 2 below!!! Not only that, but with the wind chill, it will feel like NEGATIVE THIRTY DEGREES OUTSIDE!

Guess who took a big slip (ok, THE biggest slip) this morning walking his Catahoula? Oh yes, that would be me.

Advice of the day: Watch where you are walking! The winds, ice, and leftover snow in NYC today are enough to bring anybody down (not just James Murphy). Luckily, I made it out with just a few aches and bruises, and thankfully I don't have any of the MP3 below.
