Thank God For South!
With all the Britpop that comes and goes and flash after flash after flash in the pan, South continues to put out interesting, intriguing and beautiful music, with each CD they release.
I never noticed how much Joel Cadburry looks like a lovechild of Damon Albarn and Chris Martin. It's a little uncanny.

Thankfully, as I had hoped, South threw in quite a few oldies into the set and even ended with a rousing New Order cover.
Setlist went something like this:
You Are One
Up Close And Personal
Same Old Story
A Place In Displacement
Loosen Your Hold
Safety In Numbers
Keep Close
Habit Of A Lifetime
I Know What You're Like
Paint The Silence
Colour In Waves
Motiveless Crime
Shallow
--
Flesh And Bone
Sight Of Me
Bizarre Love Triangle

Compeletly dead crowd last night which was semi-disappointing but I gave enough cheers and woos to surely make up for, at least, the first 2 rows. Come on, people!

I highly recommend you pick up the new album, 'Adventures In The Underground Journey To The Stars' right away! It's genius.
