Prior to
last night's breathtaking Sigur Ros performance, Iceland's Parachutes performed their first ever North American show. The multi instrumentalists which comprise the band create a sound that is reminiscent of Sigur Ros's pristine & melodic tunes (think 'Hoppipolla', 'Vaka' & 'All Alright'), while at times bringing to mind the ingenuity of
Amiina. Their 45 minute set was winsome & charming. Visit Parachutes at their
