I'll give you that Matt B's a good guy, and a good frontperson....but the greatest ever?? lol, I don't think so. Jimi Hendrix wasn't so much either. I mean, he was fantastic on guitar and a good singer, but I don't think anyone really had it more than Freddie Mercury, and John Lennon as a close second.
Kurt Cobain had a quality about him that made him a superstar, but I don't know if you could really count it, considering he hated it so much.
Still, I would easily vote for Freddie M.
