Futureheads Frontman Responds To Radiohead's 'Rainbows'
Barry Hyde shares the following quote with Gigwise: *They are in a league of their own. But what disappointed us was that they released it physically after. That was kind of hypocritical.*Do you agree with his criticism?
MP3: The Futureheads - Hounds Of Love (Remix)
Labels: radiohead, the futureheads

no, don't agree, nothing hypocritical about it what so ever. who the hell is this guy anyways?
i think what he meant was that it was hypocritical for them to self-release the digital version, making a big deal about it being 'diy', not needing a record label etc, and then to go and license the cd release to XL. personally i think that is fairly hypocritical.
Some of us don't like digital music. Some of us want to own the cd/vinyl. Surely that's perfectly legitimate? We're not all stuck in our poxy I-pods.
Digital is fine, but sound quality wise, cds are better.
I didn't download the album, and I purposely waited for the physical release before I heard any of the album (barring radio play).
It'll be a sad day when music goes digital only, and your record collection is reduced to a smug-arse mac moniter, as opposed to a glorious multi-coloured rack...
