Stone Temple Pilots Hop Aboard The Reunion Bandwagon
STP is much bigger news. Blind Melon is great, but Shannon Hoon is unfortunately no longer with us, so it can't be a full reunion. Even if it could, STP was one of the most successful and talented bands of the 90's modern rock era.
I think you managed to find one of the least impressive versions of "Plush" ever. The well-known acoustic version which got a lot of radio play in the 90s comes from MTV's Headbangers' Ball: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JrxZtzXtg6w
That said, while their first album Core was impressive at the time, it was the albums that followed that were truly outstanding.

well, I think that considering Blind Melon's reforming with a new singer, that could swing either way, but I'm definitely excited to see STP regroup.
