Kristeen Young Fired From Morrissey Tour
Hallelujah! MS has the news: *Kristeen Young has been fired from the tour. As soon as her set was over on Tuesday night, she was met in her dressing room by the tour manager, who informed her she would not be included on the rest of the dates. She has an appointment to pick up her belongings on Friday. She will be touring briefly with Ted Leo and The Pharmacists this November.*She was so rude/vulgar towards the crowd on Tuesday.

Out of 30 concerts I've seen this year she was by far the worst opening band. I would rather go to the dentist than to hear her wail again.Glad she is gone.
yeahhhh...i was at that show, she was very unenjoyable. is there a replacement?
So I got a bulletin from her on Myspace saying what happened. I think she has it on a blog too, but anyway I was just trying to be supportive & I said, "I don't think Morrissey would've had anything to do with the decision directly. He's not exactly innocent of making "questionable" statements." I get a reply back that says, "no..... the catering lady fired us. she was the only one with the power to do it."
F*** them!!! I actually gave them a chance even after the desk attendant at John Ascuaga's told us that most of the audience from the night before couldn't stand them. Karma's a b****. She must've thought too much of herself. I'm glad they took them off of the tour! Props to Moz, whether you had a say in it or not!
Kristeen was f*cking excellent; she nearly showed up Moz when I saw them in STL. I'd sure as hell go see her again.
I went to the Palladium show that was on Saturday and she said "Morrissey hates you all!" and I thought it was funny..and it's awesome that she is so unique and doesn't care about offending people that take life and MORRISSEY so seriously......he is amazing and breathtaking but COME ON......loosen up. She was magnificent=)
This is not surprising to most people. She had this coming to her for a long time now.
I have known Kristeen since 1992. She has had many break downs and irrational behaviors.
Great singer and a beautiful person but very unstable.
People do not realize how intense and mental she really is.
I guess her terrible childhood and abusive relationships are finally catching up with her.
