Today In WTF: Alicia Keys + The White Stripes?

Direct from Alicia: "I'm dying to work with them.

Me and The White Stripes are going to do something crazy. We tried to work something out for this record, but the timing got a little crazy and it didn't come off.

I know we can do something next time around."

Could be interesting. The White Stripes show some awesome versatility on Icky Thump, with the new influences and stuff, and Alicia Keys is amazingly talented, vocally. I think they could pull something off. If I'm going to like it is another issue.

I can't imagine a great band like the White Stripes stooping to the level of the fake Alicia Keys and her mindless pop/R&B drivel. Ditto what Gia said.
