Placebo Readies New EP Of Old Tunes

Placebo's Extended Play '07 EP is due out on July 31st (in the States only).

Its eight tracks include five classics as well as three live tunes (also previously released). The goal of the short-player is to give a mini best-of compilation to new fans whom are discovering the British trio for the first time via this summer's Projekt Revolution Tour - more info on those shows here.

All of a sudden they're so anxious to come over here. Yeah, yeah, new fanbase is good. But how about a new album? Hm, boys? Meds didn't keep me stated for too long...

I'm kind of disappointed Brian Moloko isn't working the androgyny look anymore.

Then again, a little androgyny would make me more interested in a lot of British bands, past and present. Especially Oasis.
