PJ Harvey Readies New LP

She's back!

Polly Jean will return this fall with her seventh studio album entitled White Chalk. Details are still scant at this time, but we do know that she's recruited Flood (U2, Depeche Mode, Erasure) and John Parish (who worked with PJ on To Bring You My Love + Is This Desire?) for the record's production.

The LP will see the light of day on September 24th in the UK, 25th in the US. Check out a classic PJ Harvey tune below.

Sorry that should be "When Under Ether."

The info was on Wikipedia:

In May 2006 Harvey played her first UK gig of the year, revealing that her new album would be almost entirely piano based. New songs taken from the as-yet-untitled forthcoming album include 'When Under Ether' (formerly known as 'The Ceiling'), 'The Mountain' and 'Bitter Little Bird'.

In November 2006 she started working on her eighth studio album, White Chalk, with Flood, John Parish, and Eric Drew Feldman. It is due for a release in late September 2007.
