and wait a minute... what, no bowie, or freddie mercury?
liam gallagher BEFORE john lydon? you gotta be kidding, if they have jazz singers, where's chet baker or ella fitzgerald? and where elizabeth fraser? I could go on, but whatever, those top ten or twenty or whatever lists always miss the point, there is no "better", i'd like to hear the dingbat that issues these lists sing himself...

This has got to be the stupidest list I've ever seen. Bob Dylan has one of the worst voices I've ever heard. Musical genius? Absolutely. Singer? Hell no. And also, as it seems to be a trend on this blog (and a perfectly legitimate one I might add), I have complaints about Freddie Mercury not being on the list. Though others may not agree with me, I don't think Kurt Cobain belongs on any top 100 or even top 1000 lists of anything. The only intelligent thing he ever did was put a gun to his head. Whoever wrote this list should follow suit.

I have a problem with Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey or Beyonce Knowles not being in the top 20. They kill it on stage and I have a problem with them not making the top 20.

Now...WHY IS FREDDIE MERCURY NOT UP THERE! He has the range not many female singers have and such power, yet I don't see him the top twenty...WHY?

fucking rubbish list! but then again, who is ever going to agree with a list of top 20 singers - it's very subjective - I'm sure we have FRIENDS that are better than some mentioned on that list, there will never be a definitive list of the best *anything* , guitarists, singer, whatever...all we see on websites and magazines are lists of the best WELL-KNOWN singers or musicians, so I reckon the big man has the list above and we'll never see it...ever!

For me, Freddie Mercury, Michael Jackson, Billy Joel, Matt Bellamy all missing from that list
