New Spoon Video: Love It Or Hate It?
Critics, fans and the blogosphere alike, are all rather bemused/ambivalent towards Spoon's choice for lead-off single, 'The Ghost Of You Lingers', from their upcoming sixth LP, Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga. The Austin-based foursome just released the following video to accompany the uncharacteristic track. Love it, hate it, or still confused as to what direction the band's headed in?

not sure why people are hatin on this track, it's unbelievable. but "finer feelings" should probably be the lead single.
It's tough to say why it's the first song to be made into a video, that's why I hate on it a little. The single is supposed to set the stage for the album, which I've heard, and this is not the staple. It is good, just a weird approach. Then again, they're Spoon and they can do whatever they want!
