First it was Bright Eyes, now it's Sufjan. There are few things more awkward and/or endearing than seeing an amateur (and often teenage) musician stumbling through a well-known and appreciated track with just an acoustic guitar and hesitant vocal to rely upon. Creepiest song... ever. Good collection of covers. Pelican gets points for doing something different, SWPunk gets points for best performance.
Yeh, definitely a creepy, beautiful song. But Flowstill and Sandoval are the only real standouts. Got some cheesy posturing on a couple of the first three.
My vote goes to Flowstill, though, for the sincerity and some pretty good singing.
i find it much more amusing to play them all simultaneously. yessss.
