Tracey Thorn: Solo & Fabulous

Come on, think a little harder. Tracey was the lead singer of.... ok, time's up. The answer was EVERYTHING BUT THE GIRL! While some of you may only remember EBTG for their massive single 'Missing' back in the late 90's, they've actually produced some of the best electronic albums of all time throughout the course of their career.

Well, news has been slowly spreading that Tracey is releasing her highly-anticipated new album in March via Astralwerks and I couldn't be more excited. Her last solo album was released all the way back in '82!

This article on Side-Line gives the breakdown on the new disc. While details of the LP are being kept under tightly-woven wraps, the few bullet points we can share about the album include a Pet Shop Boys cover, collaborations with Martin Wheeler, Alex Santos, Tom Gandey, Charles Webster and a title, Out Of The Woods.

You can check out the first track on OOTW, 'It's All True', via her MySpace page!

I love the new single, and the mixes on her site are fantastic. Sounds like it's going to be the album to watch this year. :)
