The Lisps Are Sorry, You Won't Be

A few months back, before Britney flashed herself but after Lindsay did (nice time frame, huh?), we featured a little band known as The Lisps in our Manic MP3 feature. Well, as the months have progressed, the band has received much love from all the local bloggers. They are even doing a joint Battering Room/PTST showcase next Saturday 1/13 in Greenpoint at Bar Matchless. Additionally, they are opening for Mattison & Change The Station on Friday the 12th at Pianos.


The band just forwarded us their living-room masterpiece, 'I'm Sorry'. You can't get much more adorable than this! For those who'd like a little more info about The Lisps, take a hint from their press release: The Lisps' songs all grow out of the jungle of their one-room apartment in the South Bronx. They write music about relationships and science, destiny and piety, documents and depravity, chaos and babies. Chaos and babies!
