Sigur Ros Gets Covered

Many many times might I add.

The band's official site lists all the covers that they've found up to date (they are suspiciously missing Thursday's cover of 'Ny Batteri' though) in convenient MP3 format.

Some bands try their hand at Sigur Ros eurodance (yes, you must hear it) while others try for an a capella chant-type sound and others, like the one below, attempt an acoutic arrangement.

All in all, most of the covers are not half bad... when you consider that covering a Sigur Ros song is a daunting task.

Yes, there's even a COUNTRY-themed cover of 'Untitled #7' for you guys and gals too!
