Mogwai @ Webster Hall, 2nd Night
But the review, yes, the review. Fucking amazing.

The best I've ever seen them.
They all came out at the start of the show in matching green Adidas track jackets. It was like the post-rock Backstreet Boys! I've yet to see them perform "My Father My King" before last night and it was truly remarkable. Whoever was doing the light show as well, was in fine form.
Also, the opening riffs of "Yes! I Am A Long Way From Home" garnered the most cheers from a crowd I've seen at Webster, since.. I guess since the Arctic Monkeys. But those people would cheer if Alex Turner took a piss on stage.
They even joked about their sometimes trite song titles last night, upon hearing many hecklers screaming out for some of the older tracks in their cataolog. "You realize how stupid the titles are after they are being shouted at you".
Here's a Mogwai song to quench your thirst: "Hunted By A Freak" (live)

Setlist:
yes! i am a long way from home
friend of the night
folk death 95
