Dear venues,

(and when I say venues, Dundee's Reading Rooms, I'm talking to you)

Why do you make it so hard to see bands?

I mean, what good is it that your website has no contact details; that most of the listings for your events give a contact number that is hideously out of date; that you have no online booking system; that you sell your tickets through some shop I've never heard of; that on finally calling said shop I get told that they don't act as the box office for the reading rooms; that on re-calling said shop I get told that they do sell tickets for some events, but they 'can't take phone orders and that I have to travel up to Dundee to get them'; that they won't take a cheque if I post it, and I have to figure out postal orders which no-one has used in like a bajillion years beacuse we all have credit cards to make things like this easier???

I just want to see Stellastarr*. That's it. It's hard enough to see good bands when you live in this God-forsaken place, and it seems that you really don't want me to go.

If the tickets are sold out by the time my letter makes it through the post, then I will not be happy...
