KT Tunstall: Not Just for Lesbians

Music Slut Skye and I saw her back on November 20th 2004. She played to a half-full St. Andrews union and blew our socks off.

And last night's performance didn't disappoint either. With a pair of raucous lesbians next to us and a slew of drunk British people shouting, it was quite the party. By the time she sang "Suddenly I See", Matt and I were full out dancing to the music- it was great. I find KT's music to be really honest. It's not full of pretentcious lyrics or complicated melodies, it is bare and real and just damn good.

The concert was being filmed by Virgin for a possible future release; the signs posted said we should make sure and make lots of noise. I would have clapped louder, but I kept spilling my beer. I just hope some of my whooping got on camera.
