Edinburgh 50,000: The Final Push

Instead of typing up my notes on Live 8 Edinburgh I thought it would be more amusing, and lets face it a whole of a hell lot easier, to scan my notes instead and let you read them yourself (click on the notes for a bigger version). I wasn't too disappointed that I couldn't go to Live 8 London but from what I saw of Edinburgh and from what I heard all the commentators, both on the radio and on TV, say about the event is that it was just phenomenal and moving. Apparently there is nothing like a Scottish crowd. One day when I become a famous rock star I hope I get the chance to find out.

I started off listening to the event on the radio at seven then an hour later I tuned into BBC2 which started an hour late so that they could do a shit job of editing and sticking in commentary. At eleven they switched to BBC1 which I don't get at home because my receiver is shite so I went back to the radio which was doing a much better job of covering the event anyway. You can check out the BBC Scotland site for clips of the show. Might I suggest The Proclaimers and Bono joining The Corrs for 'Stars Go Blue.' Also Lenny Henry's blues song is dead funny and my loves, Travis, were FANBLOODYTASTIC! You hear that Skye?!
