Dear Pete & Roger,

Please feel free to use some of the money I've spent on your records over the last three decades to pay for a rehearsal space, a crack rhythym section (including a bassist that can at least attempt the Ox's part), and a copy of Live at Leeds. Come out and try again in a few months.

Dear HenryPonds,

Struck a nerve, did we?
Relax pal, I like the Who as much as anybody, but I don't give free passes to anybody (and I most definitely won't pay to see anybody "stand there and do nothing"). You're more than entitled to disagree. In fact, it's your duty. Personally, I prefer the vitality of this: .
I mean this with all sincerity: keep that fire!
Cheers, Tom
